Hey you, yes You!
Step away from the cell phone, put down the remote, and peel yourself away from the computer (after reading this of course.)
There is no better day than today to get healthy and get fit!
You have only one body and one day it will betray you all on its own, so no point in helping it along, right?
After all, today is the youngest you’re going to be for the rest of your life so embrace every minute.
This was the pep-talk I gave myself today as I forced myself onto the treadmill, oh how I would’ve rather been watching some reality TV, pinning away on Pinterest, or doing some blogging (of course) but the feeling I had after my workout was so much better than all of these combined.
I love the feeling after a good workout, don’t you?
What I love even more is the feeling of being healthy. You know, the glow your skin gets, the extra energy you have and not to mention the burst of confidence and the feeling as though you can take on the world (or maybe that’s just me.)
Either way, I haven’t had that feeling for awhile and I’m determined to get it back! Maybe you are too.
After all, being unhealthy is sort of like a whittled flower in bad soil, you have no nutrients or vitamins to help you grow but the minute you put fresh soil, lots of vitamins and plenty of water, you eventually become a strong and vibrant petunia…or tulip…or your flower of choice.
The point is, no matter how short, tall, round or square you are, it’s time to love your bodies and trash the things that are trashing it.
So to all my petunias, tulips, and/or roses, you can now step away from the cell phone, put down the remote, peel yourself away from the computer and go get healthy!
Go replant into some good soil, take in some sunshine, and just add water – believe me, your body will thank you for it.
“She is energetic and strong, a hard worker.”
Proverbs 31:17 (NLT)
