Pay The Price

“To be successful, you must decide exactly what you want to accomplish, then resolve to pay the price to get it.”
-Unknown

Deciding what you want to accomplish is the easy part…paying the price to get it, that’s where it gets hard.

Paying the price could mean hard work – really hard work, it could mean long hours, late nights, rejection…but if you are determined to overcome these things and anything else that may stand in your way then there’s no way you can NOT succeed.

A lot of times we set goals and decide we want change, but then the minute we realize it’s going to take hard work, persistence, patience or determination we give up, we throw in the towel. We want results now! And when we don’t get them right away, we quit.

It’s time to start following through.

So set small goals, or shoot for one really big one and then make the decision to do whatever it takes to complete it.

Success is waiting at the finish line…you just have to be willing to reach it.

Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work hard will prosper.
(Proverbs 13:4 NLT)

What price are you paying for success?
If your answer is 0 then maybe now is the time you start investing in yourself.

The price I’m willing to pay for my success is to learn everything I can, every way I can – Knowledge definitely is Power. Whether its taking classes, reading more, and/or seizing every good opportunity that comes my way. It not only keeps life exciting but it’s amazing the people I meet and things I learn about myself along the way.

All I know is, when the big opportunity comes my way, I will be prepared but until then I’m grateful for the doors that do open – no matter how small.

I’d love to hear from you! Please share the price you’re paying for success in the comments below, who knows, maybe I could be doing more!

And remember to always put it into prayer, then put it into action…
