I don’t know about you but I tend to focus a lot of my attention on tomorrow, on the future, and on the –  unknown.  Which in part can be a blessing and in part can be a curse.

The blessing comes from being goal-driven, motivated and excited about the future; however, the curse lies in sometimes overlooking today.

I recently heard someone say “oftentimes we’re looking for what we already have”…when I sat and thought about it, I realized it was so true.

I have all that I need, I have come along way and am blessed beyond measure and what I’ve come to realize, like the scripture stated, is that I don’t need to worry about tomorrow because today is sufficient enough and has worry of its own.

Instead of getting lost in tomorrow, I will ask myself, “Today how can I become a better person? Today how can I become a better wife? Today how can I become a better Christian, a better friend, a better woman?”

There is nothing wrong with having your focus and vision on tomorrow, as long as you don’t let it rob you of Today.

So ask yourself these same questions, how can you make today the best day of your life? How can you become better, give more, love stronger? Then do it all over again tomorrow.

You’ll find that it’s an accumulation of the little things that make up the greatest things.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post, as always, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below. Thank you for stopping by, God Bless.
