Some know God, some want to know God, and some long to know Him. 

Even those who say they don’t believe in God cannot deny that there is one. 

So where do you fall?

Do you think of Him as some far off ethereal being that is too preoccupied with heavenly things to be bothered by you?

Do you pray to Him only in desperation or time of trouble?

Do you only say his name as a swear word or as an exclamation (oh my god!)

Or do you know Him intimately; can you hear Him speak softly to you; can you feel His joy and peace overflowing in you; do you seek Him daily no matter the circumstances; do you call out to Him for guidance and wisdom and read His word for direction. 

To know Him this way is, intimately and deeply, is to know pure love. The love you think you can find in other people, in money, in succes or in things. 

His love is so pure that the doors of your heart will burst open and overflow, pouring into every ounce of your body. 

It’s unexplainable, no matter how hard I try to explain the feeling, you must test Him out for yourself, “taste and see that the Lord is good.”

The Bible says if you seek Him, He will draw near to you but if turn away from Him, He will hide His face from you. 

So seek Him diligently, seek Him daily, listen for Him, talk to Him; He’s all around you. He’s not off in a far far land, He’s right next to you. Open your eyes and your heart to Him and watch how He transforms your life. 

“But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭4:29‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
