“Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.” Psalms 55:22 NLT
Father, I lay may burdens at your feet. Help me to remember that I can’t do everything on my own and help me to know that I don’t have to do it all alone. You are with me daily, to care for and comfort me, all I need to do is ask. Your word says you give strength to the weak and I pray that you would be my strength when I am weak.
Father, I pray that you would keep my path straight; this world is full of things that try to trip me up and stumble me but as you promised you will not allow that to happen. Please fill me with your Holy Spirit daily so that He may guide me through the darkness. Help me to keep my eyes on you so that I may do your will which is surely a clear path that you’ve set before me. Equip me for the days when my burdens become too heavy and remind me to lay them at the cross.
Thank you for your sacrifice, which you suffered so that I wouldn’t have to. You are amazing and wonderful and I thank you for this precious day. I pray in Jesus’ name – Amen.
(Meditation Monday: These scriptures and prayers are intended to give you encouragement for the day and/or week. Maybe you don’t know God very well or are not sure how to pray to Him, hopefully this will help guide you. I pray this speaks to someone out there. Thanks for stopping by and God Bless.)
