Meditation Monday – Find Rest

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:28-30‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Father, I come before you today asking for rest for my soul. There is always so much to do and so much worry this world has to offer, I just pray for your peace. Teach me how to walk in your ways, fill me with your Holy Spirit daily and give me guidance. Help me to have a heart like yours, one that is humble and gentle and filled with peace.

Thank you for the blessings you have provided, I pray that you would help me to remain humble about all that I have and never take it for granted. When the housework gets behind, bills pile up, and deadlines don’t get met may I turn to you for rest. When my days are long and there’s just not enough hours to get it all done, may I turn to you for rest.

Father, I just ask that you give me strength every day.  May I put on your yoke and carry your burden which you promise is easy and light. Thank you for this life you blessed me with and thank you for your mercy and grace.

I pray in Jesus’ name – Amen.

I pray that all of you enjoy this Labor Day and remember to praise the Lord for all He’s provided.
