“O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!”‭‭ Psalms‬ ‭139:1-6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Father, this is far too wonderful for my little mind to comprehend! The creator of the universe, the God who sits on a heavenly throne and uses Earth as his footstool, knows me personally and intimately. You watch over me not in judgment but in love, just as any parent would watch over their child. 

Forgive me when I forget this truth and try to hide from you. Help me to know and feel your presence. Help me to know that you are always watching, leading and protecting me and may I live a life pleasing in your sight. 

Thank you for loving me like you do; I am not worthy of your blessings and grace but still you give it. Please examine my heart Lord and get rid of anything that hinders my relationship with you. I pray in Jesus’ name – Amen.
