Meditation Monday: Everlasting Foundation

“When the whirlwind passes by, the wicked is no more, But the righteous has an everlasting foundation.”‭‭ Proverbs‬ ‭10:25‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Father, thank for being my rock and foundation; thank you for the comfort and shelter you provide through the storm. Those who don’t know you and don’t put their faith in you crumble under the pressures and whirlwinds of this life; they build their hope on sand and pebbles and it’s swept away by the storm. This used to be me but by your mercy and grace, you have saved and strengthened me. I pray that you would continue to fortify me; when I am weak and weary, give me rest.

Help me to continue building my foundation, one rock at a time. Help me to spend time in your word and quiet time with you.  Keep me from the distractions and temptations which steal my time from you and may I continue to hold tight to your word and your promises even when the winds beat me down. Please go before me this week and equip for what may come. I pray in Jesus’ name – Amen.

(Meditation Monday: These scriptures and prayers are intended to give you encouragement for the day and/or week. Maybe you don’t know God very well or are not sure how to pray to Him, hopefully this will help guide you. I pray this speaks to someone out there.)

Have a great week, God Bless!
