“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.”2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT
Father God, you are a mighty and loving God – full of grace and mercy. I am so undeserving of the grace you shower me with but I am so thankful for it.
I know that I am weak and fragile and my own strength is frail in comparison to yours. Forgive me when I try to be strong in my own eyes; forgive me when I deny my weakness and let pride take over. Please break me down to my most fragile and vulnerable form so that your power can shine through.
Help me to not fear weakness but to instead rejoice in it because I know that’s when you’re closest to me.
Thank you for the gift of grace; teach me how to share this gift of grace with others so they can get a glimpse of your unfailing love. Renew me daily with your Holy Spirit and equip for what may come.
I pray in Jesus’ name – Amen.
Thank you for visiting — God bless.
