Meditation Monday: Rejoice in the Lord

“Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!”‭‭ Habakkuk‬ ‭3:17-18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Father God, thank you for all that you’ve provided. Help me to always remember your grace and mercy and the promise that you will never leave or forsake me.

I pray for the days when blessings may not be abundant, for the days when all may not be well; I pray for the days when the world might seem dismal and there is little reason to smile. I pray that I would remember all that you have done and may I can continue to rejoice in You.

Forgive me if I ever lose hope and help me in those days to rest assured in Your promises. Promises of a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11), promises that you work all things together for good (Romans 8:28) and the most important hope of everlasting life! (1 John 2:25)

I place all my hope in you and I rejoice in You always!

I pray in Jesus name – Amen.

(Meditation Monday: These scriptures and prayers are intended to give you encouragement for the day and week. The Lord tells us to meditate in His word day and night (Joshua 1:8) so read the scripture, pray the prayer and meditate as you wait for Him to speak to you.)

Thank you for visiting, God bless.
