Meditation Monday: Mighty Works

“But then I recall all you have done, O LORD; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago. They are constantly in my thoughts. I cannot stop thinking about your mighty works.”
‭(‭Psalms‬ ‭77:11-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Father God, you are mighty and your deeds are wonderful. As I reflect back on all you have done for me – how you delivered me from destruction and despair; how you removed my sorrow and replaced it with joy; how you took my pain and turned it into purpose – I am overjoyed and overwhelmed by emotion.

You were there even when I thought you had forgotten me; you were there when I thought I was alone – every minute of every day, you were there.

Forgive me if I ever forget your wonderful deeds in my life. Forgive me when I forget how merciful and powerful you are.

Thank you for delivering me Father, thank you for bringing me out of my pitiful pit and for making me anew!

May I praise and worship you all the days of my life.

I pray in Jesus’ name – amen.

(Meditation Monday: These scriptures and prayers are intended to give you encouragement for the day and week. The Lord tells us to meditate in His word day and night (Joshua 1:8) so read the scripture, pray the prayer and meditate as you wait for Him to speak to you.)

Thank you for visiting, God bless.
