Meditation Monday: Joy comes in the morning

“For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭30:5‬)

Heavenly Father, how sweet and tender is your faithfulness. ‬‬This world is so full of sin and darkness yet even still, you shine your goodness on those who love you.

Even in times of sorrow, we still have the hope of everlasting joy.

I pray father that you would give me strength during times of weeping, I pray that you would give your church and this world comfort in these dark days. May we remember our sovereign king who sits on the throne. May we praise and exalt you even in the darkest days.

Please go before me Father, fill me with a joy and a peace like no other. Pour your Holy Spirit upon me and help to always remember your goodness and mercy.

In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

(Meditation Monday: These scriptures and prayers are intended to give you encouragement for the day and week. The Lord tells us to meditate in His word day and night (Joshua 1:8) so read the scripture, pray the prayer and meditate as you wait for Him to speak to you.)

Thank you for visiting, God bless.
