“Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever.” (Psalms 73:25-26 NLT)
Father God, you are mighty and powerful yet so tender and merciful at the same time. You hold the whole earth in your powerful hands yet you also hold my fragile heart.
I pray Father, that you would continue to be my strength. You are my God forever and I want to desire you more than any earthly thing. Forgive me when my actions reflect otherwise. When my flesh is rebelling and my spirit is dim, please strengthen me. Equip me with a heart that is steadfast and a spirit that is unwavering.
Thank you Lord for the promises you’ve given and the hope you provide. When those days arrive where it seems everything is crumbling down and I’m caught in the thick of a storm, I know you are sovereign and that you will be my shelter and my rock.
I pray for those whose health may be failing and whose spirit is weak, may they cling to you even tighter. I pray you would strengthen their hearts and remind them of your glorious power and faithfulness.
Fill me with your Holy Spirit Father, pour your joy and peace into my heart and help me to always walk in your ways.
(Meditation Monday: These scriptures and prayers are intended to give you encouragement for the day and week. The Lord tells us to meditate in His word day and night (Joshua 1:8) so read the scripture, pray the prayer and meditate as you wait for Him to speak to you.)
Thank you for visiting, God bless.
