“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6 NIV)
Heavenly Father, I believe — I believe that I exist because YOU exist. I believe in the maker of heaven and earth – the God who laid the foundations and sprinkled the stars across the sky; the God who tells the sun when to rise and tells the sea where to stop. I believe in the Master craftsman who knitted me together in my mother’s womb, who collects every tear in a bottle, and knows every hair on my head. I believe you created me for your pleasure and desire only goodness in all the days of my life.
I believe, however, I know there are those times when I doubt. Times I doubt your goodness, your faithfulness, and your power. Forgive me Father in my unbelief. Help me through those seasons of doubt, strengthen my faith in those moments, and reveal yourself to me. Fill me with your Spirit Lord and give me the desire to earnestly seek you.
Lord I pray for those whose faith is weak and those who have no faith at all. Would you meet them in this moment, whisper into the depths of their hearts and breath new life into them.
Thank you Father for all that you are. I pray that I may live a life that is pleasing to you. A life full of faith, full of hope, and full of You.
In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
(Meditation Monday: These scriptures and prayers are intended to give you encouragement for the day and week. The Lord tells us to meditate in His word day and night (Joshua 1:8) so read the scripture, pray the prayer and meditate as you wait for Him to speak to you.)
Thank you for visiting, God bless.
