Meditation Monday: Strength Through Christ

“Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”‭‭ Philippians‬ ‭4:11-13‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Heavenly Father, thank you for all that you provide. You meet every need that I have and I have never gone without. Even in the days of little, I’ve always had enough.

Please continue to teach me how to be content in every situation. No matter what each day brings, I pray that I can continue to put my trust in you. I know that my days will not always be joyful or easy but with your strength, I will prevail.

I pray for those who are discontent or disatisfied with their lives, those who are always searching and seeking only to wind up empty, may they discover you and be filled with your love.

Lord, please pour your Spirit upon me, give me your strength to help me persevere in all that I do and give me your peace so that I may be content in all that I have.

I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.

(Meditation Monday: These scriptures and prayers are intended to give you encouragement for the day and week. The Lord tells us to meditate in His word day and night (Joshua 1:8) so read the scripture, pray the prayer and meditate as you wait for Him to speak to you.)

Thank you for visiting, God bless.
