Heavenly Father, thank you for the protection and the strength that you provide. Thank you also for the people you placed within my life, the people who surround me and stand with me. Thank you most importantly for my husband. The man you’ve entrusted my heart and my soul to.

Help our bond and our relationship to continue to grow stronger day by day. Help us to always remember to be a team and to stand united and never divided. I pray Father, that you would be in the midst of our marriage, like the scripture says “a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” I know with you in the middle, we will not be broken. 

I pray Father that you would use our marriage to glorify you. May we seek you daily and find wisdom and understanding in all the decisions that we make.

I pray for those marriages that are hanging by a thread and for those relationships that don’t have you at the center. I pray Father you would reveal to them how much they need you. Show them how delicate and fragile they are without your strength. I pray you would renew and restore their relationships today.

Thank you Father for this beautiful thing called marriage. Please continue to help us to know you and each other more and more each day. Speak your word into our life and breath your Spirit into our souls. Help us to love each other like you love us.
