Meditation Monday: God’s Gifts

“Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words!” 2 Corinthians 9:15

Heavenly Father, thank you for Your wonderful, precious, indescribable gifts.

Thank you for your gift of love, mercy, grace, hope, faith, strength and most importantly, the gift of Salvation. Your unwavering love was on full display through the giving of your Son, Jesus Christ, as a sacrifice for me — thank you for being so generous to such an undeserving soul.

I pray that my life would be a testimony to your faithfulness and for your glory, not only in seasons of celebration but in seasons of sadness as well. I have tasted and seen the fullness of your joy and peace and love and it still overwhelms my soul. I couldn’t put it into words or paint a picture if I tried.

I pray Lord for those who have never received your priceless gift. I pray for those who are sifting through empty boxes and wrappings and packages only to find broken and used trinkets. I pray they would open up the gift of salvation and discover your precious treasure that awaits.

I pray Father, that you would keep my heart fixed on you — help me to constantly remember your generosity. Help me to never forget the hope that is found in our Savior, Jesus Christ. I give my life back to you as a thank you; use me to bless others and to share the gift of Jesus.

I pray in Jesus name, Amen.
