Heavenly Father, thank you for covering me with your strength and your dignity. As I reflect back on this past year I see the moments you carried me, comforted me and guided me along the best path for my life.

As I embark on a fresh new year, I pray for your continued strength Lord. I pray you would give me a deeper understanding of you and that you would reveal yourself to me in new ways. Thank you for all the blessings you poured upon me this last year, may I continue to have a heart of gratitude. I pray this new year would be a year of surrender and obedience to you. I know I can laugh and smile at the days to come because you have gone before me.
