“Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭51:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Heavenly Father, thank you for your mercy and forgiveness. Thank you that a Holy God like you can love a sinful soul like mine.  

There is nothing I can do that could wash my soul clean and make me right with you other than your Son, Jesus Christ. Thank you for sending him as a cleansing for my soul. Thank for this pure love that makes me white as snow. Forgive me for being a sinner Lord. Forgive me when I fall short. Purify and cleanse me and blot out those things that are displeasing to you; help me to be more like Jesus everyday.

I pray for those who are full of shame and brokenness due to their sin and for those who feel unworthy. Help them to discover pure cleansing through your Son and make them white as snow. 

Your mercies are new every morning and as I enter a brand new year, help me to go deeper into your waters and give me a fresh cleansing through your word. Remove any burdens of sin and help me to enter this new year clothed in white.
