“But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job‬ ‭23:10‬ (‭NKJV‬‬)

Heavenly Father, you are omnipotent and omnipresent; you see me and are with me always. You watch over me, not with a vengeful spirit but with a loving heart. You know the path I am on and where I am headed, you know when the road is rocky and when it is smooth. I know there are times when the path is rough and rugged and is necessary for my growth and endurance. 

Forgive me Lord, when I doubt your goodness in times of trouble. Forgive me when I lose hope and patience. Help me to remember that you are with me through it all. When I am being tested by fiery trials, help me to come out as pure as gold. 

I pray that you would give me a heart that endures through all seasons of life. Give me strength to persevere when these times arrive; fill me with your Holy Spirit and help me to glorify you always. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
