“Restore our fortunes, Lord, as streams renew the desert. Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy. They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.” Psalms 126:4-6 NLT
Heavenly Father, thank you for renewing the barren areas of my soul. Thank you for the harvest that has sprouted up in my life and the joy that has replaced my sadness.
There have been many tears throughout the years that have poured out, like a dam giving way. All along you were collecting each tear and using them to water my parched soul.
I pray for those who are planting in tears; those who are hurting and are filled with sadness. I pray you would comfort them and collect every drop of tear. I pray you would water their thirsty soul and give them a plentiful harvest of joy.
Heavenly Father, I ask that you go before me this week. Prepare my heart for whatever may come. Use me to be a blessing to someone in need. Thank you for the renewing you’ve done in my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
(Meditation Monday: These scriptures and prayers are intended to give you encouragement for the day and week. The Lord tells us to meditate in His word day and night (Joshua 1:8) so read the scripture, pray the prayer and meditate as you wait for Him to speak to you.)
Thank you for visiting, God bless.
