“Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” John 13:7

Heavenly Father, thank you for all that you do in my life. Thank you for the things that I see clearly and the things I don’t always understand. I know if it is from You, it is good. Thank you for walking along side me each and every day and preparing my steps before I even get out bed.

I know Lord, there are times when I don’t fully understand Your plan. There are times when I think I can do things better, and there are times when I get impatient and frustrated in the waiting. Forgive me in those selfish moments. Help me to remember You are always in control. Help me to remember I will one day look back and see Your perfect plan played out in my life.

Lord, as I begin a new week, I give this life of mine over to You. Help me to surrender it all to You daily. I know there are things I try to cling to, I ask that You would loosen my grip so I can hand it over to You. Give me patience in the things that I don’t understand and help me to fully trust in You. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
