“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans 12:2 (NLT)

Heavenly Father, thank you for coming into my life and completely changing it. Thank you for transforming me into a new person. Before You, my thoughts were selfish and sinful. Before You, my behavior matched that of the world and the things that were wrong in Your eyes were right in mine. You opened my eyes and showed me what was good and pleasing and perfect to You.

Help me to continue to be transformed day by day. Forgive me when my thoughts go astray and when I’m tempted to give into the customs of this world. Help me to fix my thoughts on You and Your truth.

I pray for this world, which has been led astray from You. I pray for all the lost people who do what’s right in their own eyes. I pray You would begin a transformation in the hearts and souls of those who are lost and filled with hate and anger. Teach them Your good and pleasing and perfect will.

Please go before me this week, Lord. Give me wisdom and guidance in all that I do. Help me to walk in Your will and walk in Your ways. I pray in Jesus’ name, amen.
