“Never stop praying.” ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭(NLT)‬‬

Heavenly Father, today I come before You with an open heart. I come empty handed so that I may be filled with You. Thank you Lord for giving me the power of prayer. Thank You for giving me full access into Your presence, where I can have total and complete intimacy with You.

The cry of my heart today is not for myself but for all those around me; those close to me and those that I don’t even know. In these days of uncertainty, I know that you hear my prayers. I pray for the empty hearts and the lost souls of this world. I pray for those who seek to do harm and for those who have been the victims of evil and sin. Help us to remember who the real enemy is; Satan himself. Help every Christian to put on the full armor of God (Eph 6:10-18). Help each one of us to use our weapon of prayer and to fight the good fight.

My prayer for this week is that You would stir up the hearts of all believers. I pray You would give each one of us a desire to serve You and a desire to shine Your light into this dark world. Wake up the sleeping Christian, Lord. Help us to never lose hope and to NEVER stop praying. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
