“Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer; answer me, for I need your help. Protect me, for I am devoted to you. Save me, for I serve you and trust you. You are my God.” Psalms‬ ‭86:1-2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Heavenly Father, You are my God. There is no other like you. There is no other whose love is as merciful and unconditional as Yours. Bend down and hear my prayers, O Lord. Each day brings with it its own trials and troubles and I need You daily. Protect me, equip me and strengthen me for whatever I may face. I devote my life to You Lord, and only You know what is best for me.

Forgive me when I give into my emotions and my own selfish desires. Forgive me when I give the enemy a foothold in my life. Help me to continue to serve and trust in You.

I know I have been saved by grace and Your word says You will “work all things together for good for those who love you and are called according to your purpose.” (Romans 8:28) This is the hope we have through all of life’s trials. Whatever this day or week may bring, I know it is all in accordance with Your plan. In Jesus’ name, amen.
