“Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.” ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭7:9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Heavenly Father, You are a just and faithful God. Today I just want to praise You and thank You for all of the love You’ve lavished over me. No matter the season, the weather, the day or year, Your love never fails. No matter if I’m standing on the mountain high or in the valley low, Your love is still faithful.

Forgive me when I neglect this truth. Forgive me when I forget how powerful, merciful and loving You truly are. I can look back and see time and time again when Your faithfulness was displayed.

I pray for those who don’t know You as the one true God; the maker of heaven and earth; the God who knitted us together in our mother’s womb and who has a plan and purpose for our lives. I pray that You would reveal Your unfailing love to them and set them free.

Please go before me this week and help me to fix my eyes and heart on You. Help me to feel Your presence and praise You through whatever may come this week. In Jesus’ name, amen.
