Heavenly Father, thank you for setting me FREE. Thank you for paying the price for my sin through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help me to live a life of gratitude and service. Help me to surrender my life to You daily to be used for Your good.

I lift up those who have given their lives in exchange for our freedom. I pray that You would give their families comfort and peace as they honor their loved ones. I lift up our brothers and sisters who fight for freedom daily; for these men and women who give up their own comforts and conveniences to protect this country. Give them strength, courage, and perseverance to fight the good fight. May they keep their eyes continually fixed on You. Help them to be salt and light in the dark places they encounter. Help them to shine the light of Jesus to all they come in contact with.

Help us all to remember the ultimate Hero, Jesus Christ, who gave His life so we could live in freedom. In Jesus name, amen.
