Heavenly Father, thank you for adopting me into Your heavenly family. Thank You for guiding me, protecting me and pouring Your love upon me. Thank You also, for providing us with fathers and husbands to do the same for both us and our children.

I lift up all the fathers to You today. Give them the strength, courage and faith needed to face the battles that will come their way. Give them wisdom and discernment in the decisions they will make for their families. Help them to be strong leaders within their home. Use them to mold and shape their children into future leaders and disciples of Christ.

I pray for us women as well, Lord. I pray that we would be helpers and encouragers to the men in our lives. Help us to build them up instead of tearing them down. May they find peace and rest in our presence and may we be a godly example to our children in all that we do. In Jesus’ name, amen.
