“He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.” Psalms‬ ‭91:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Heavenly Father, thank You for the shelter and protection you provide. You are like a mighty eagle, who covers us with Your wings and keeps us safe. No matter what trials we might face or how many arrows the enemy throws our way, You are the armor that keeps us from harm. No matter how fearful or afraid we might be, You are our protector.

Forgive me Lord, when I runaway from Your shelter. Forgive me when I run towards the arms of false protection and safety. Forgive when I put my hope and trust in things that are temporary and fleeting. Each time I do, those walls eventually come tumbling down and I’m left vulnerable and afraid.

Help me to continually seek Your shelter. Cover me with Your unfailing love and help me to rest in Your arms. Remove all worry and fear from my heart and fill me with the peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus’ name, amen.
