Heavenly Father, You are my refuge and my shelter. You are my protector and deliverer. Even when the enemy schemes against me, Your angels are always keeping watch over me. Even when the enemy is successful at stumbling me, he does not conquer me. Each time, You pick me up and place me back on the path You have set before me.

Lord, forgive me when I don’t call on Your mighty power. Forgive me in times of trouble, when I accuse You of not being near. Help me to walk in Your strength and not my own. Help me to call on You in times of sorrow and to praise You in moments of joy.

I lift up this day and this week to You. May I walk in the confidence of knowing that You, the Creator of heaven and earth, are watching over me. Help me to remember that You love me and are always protecting me and “no weapon formed against me shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17). Help me to trample over my fears and doubts and crush the lies of the enemy under my feet. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
