“Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart. My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭119:111-112‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Heavenly Father, Your promises are true and unfailing. They are like a fresh stream to my parched soul, a guiding light when I am lost, and a place of comfort in times of trouble. Your word is the only guidance I need in life. When my heart is set on You, there is fullness of joy.

In a world of distractions and busyness, it’s so easy to drift away. Help me continually keep my heart set on You. Tie an anchor to my soul and keep me near to You always.

Lord, please go before this week. Give me a desire for You that burns bright. Remind me of Your statutes and Your promises and help me to walk in Your ways everyday. In Jesus’ name, amen.
