“All of this is for your benefit. And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.” 2 Corinthians 4:15 NLT
(Repost from 2016)
Heavenly Father, there is so much to be thankful for but most importantly, I am thankful for your grace. Your grace that abounds, your grace that is forgiving, and your grace that is loving.
I pray that my life would be a reflection of thankfulness, adoration and praise for all that you are and all that you have done in in and through me. Forgive me when I am quick to take my eyes off you; help me to stay humble and to have a heart of gratitude.
I pray for those who have never experienced your loving grace and mercy and I pray for those who are empty and hurting inside. Would you enter into their hearts and fill them with your peace. I pray they would surrender their hearts to you and be filled with thanksgiving.
Father, please go before me this week, give me a willing and obedient heart to share your truth with others; I pray for your grace to abound and spread like a wildfire! Thank you for your beautiful gift of grace.
I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
