Heavenly Father, today I come before you with a prayer for revival. Not only a personal revival within my heart but also in the hearts of Christians throughout the world. I pray for all of the “lukewarm” believers who have become content in their ways and are slowly drifting away from you. I pray for this nation which has fallen asleep with regards to its service to you and for those who are rebelling against you.

I pray for a revival in all of our hearts. Would you stir up a fervent fire within each of us and a desire that longs to seek you with all of its heart. Would you search each of us and remove those things that are leading us astray. Open our eyes and show us where we have gone off course. Be our anchor in a world that tosses us about. May our hearts be set on you once again.

As I enter this new week Lord, reveal yourself to me in new and magnificent ways. Light a fire in my soul and quench my dry bones. Remind me of your unfailing love, help me to rejoice in you always and praise you in all things. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
