Heavenly Father, thank you for your graciousness, strength, and protection. Thank you for providing every tool and resource we need to build a strong foundation. You are the chief cornerstone in the lives of all who believe in you and those who trust in you cannot be shaken (Isaiah 28:16). Your protection far surpasses any wall, barrier, or guard. As long as you are on watch, there is nothing to fear.

Lord I pray for those who build with their own selfish ambitions and labor in vain. I pray for those who reject your assistance and protection and build their lives, their homes, and their families on shaky ground. When the foundation cracks and crumbles I pray they would lift their eyes up to you and open their hearts in surrender. Then you will help them lay the proper foundation for all that they do.

Lord, I pray that I would always include you in the blueprints of my plans. I pray that your word and truth would be woven into the tapestry of my life. I pray for your protection against the enemy. If you are for me, who could ever be against me? (Romans 8:31) Use me only as your tool Lord. May my home, family, and all my future plans be built by you, according to your will. In Jesus’ name, amen.
