“Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart.” Proverbs 3:3 (NASB)

Heavenly Father, thank you for the kindness you’ve shown towards a sinner like me. Thank you for sending us your Son, who is truth and life, to a lost world. Your word is filled with verse after verse of kindness, humility, gentleness and truth. Jesus was the greatest example of this all. Help me to be more like Jesus. Help me to bind your words around my neck and weave them into the fibers of my heart.

Lord, I pray for those who live in a state of hostility and anger. I pray for those who don’t know your truth and are walking in uncertainty and hopelessness. I ask that you reveal yourself to them. Reveal yourself to a world that is lost and angry and bitter towards you. Open their eyes and show them the one true way to peace and joy and eternal salvation.

Please go before me this week Lord, help me to meditate on your word. Help me to feel your presence near and to share your kindness and truth with a hopeless world. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
